Aspen Ridge House

Contemporary Retreat in the Colorado Mountains
Ridge House represents a vision of contemporary mountain living—where clean forms and natural elements come together in harmony with the environment.
Aspen Ridge House is a modern vacation home located in the snowy mountains of Colorado. Designed as a reinterpretation of the traditional alpine chalet, the project blends contemporary minimalism with the warmth and texture of natural materials.
The design balances lightness and strength. The upper volume features vertical timber cladding that echoes the forms of classic mountain cabins, while the concrete base grounds the structure in the landscape. Expansive floor-to-ceiling glass walls open the interior to the dramatic mountain views, creating a seamless connection between architecture and nature.
Interiors are calm, refined, and rooted in natural tones. Warm wood ceilings, custom furnishings, and minimalist lines define each space, offering a sense of quiet retreat and timeless elegance. The layout encourages flow and openness, emphasizing relaxation and immersion in the surroundings.
